Description Mark Raine 2008-06-12 21:32:51 BST
Exporting nodes with multiple detail pages to Web Maps. On opening the Web Maps
Details only shows the first page as a scrollable page, the remainder are
referenced only and not very readable.
To be able to export maps and allow readers to view all pages as entered would
be good. (All pages are present in Web Outline.)
Have looked through on-line support to no avail. Your advice would be much
appreciated.
In anticipation, many thanks.
Mark

I just tested it and it seems to do what I expected. All the detail pages on a
node have the text put together separated by the page number and date. My test
node had:

Page: 1 Entered: 22 May, 2007 Modified: 22 May, 2007

sadasdad and then there was none. So we walked for a while and then saw a tree.
Waht a nice tree it was.

Page: 2 Entered: 13 Jun, 2008 Modified: 13 Jun, 2008

Once we had passed the tree we stopped and looked at some pretty flowers. They
where pink.

Page: 3 Entered: 13 Jun, 2008 Modified: 13 Jun, 2008

Ignore the content, but that is the sort of thing it should have done.
I am not sure exactly what yours did from your description. Waht do you mean by
the remainder are referenecd only. Thhe only references will be an externally
referenced file. Can you email me the html for the detail window causing you
problems (m.s.bachler@open.ac.uk) and explain what was in the original node -
or even better send me the XML for the map/node)

Michelle

Many thanks.
When is 1.5.3 available for use?

I am not sure as I am currently on another project.
A good guess would be early September as there are some major elements I need
to add to Compendium before the next release (we may in fact call the release
1.6 or even 2.0!). You should get an email when it comes out to let you know.
